• Nurture women’s character through the integration of leadership development and Christ-centred Spirituality.
• Network women leaders to develop supportive connections on a National and Global level
• Equip leadership competency through enhancing gifts and skills to maximize ministry effectiveness

GOALS
1. NURTURE: (encourage Spiritual character)
1.1 Prayer: Emphasize personal, interpersonal and corporate levels of prayer.
Provide Prayer Ministry as a key signature at National Conferences
1.2 Team: Build a cohesive National team through the development of relationships,
drawing on team gifts and strengths & ministering together to achieve the mission
1.3 Mentoring: Build a culture of mentor/coaching for those in leadership and assist the
State Leaders to model a mentoring culture within the states
1.4 Pastoral care: Provide support for State Leaders as requested
1.5 Develop Character through integrating leadership development and Christ-
centred Spirituality.
2. NETWORK: (providing supportive connections)
2.1 Annual Forum: Gather all State Leaders, BWUSWP state reps and Executive Members for business, strategic planning, relationship building and training.
2.2 Communicate: Regularly connect, inspire and provide information to the National Team through E-News, website, Conference Meetings, Prayer News and sharing of resources and events.
2.3 Living Life: Maintain a high quality quarterly National magazine and volunteer
team that will communicate God’s work through Australian Baptist women
2.4 Partnerships: Strengthen the relationship with Baptist Women’s Union of the South
West Pacific to develop ways to profile SWP & WDOP to women in local churches.
2.5 Associations: Maintain strong links with Baptist Union of Australia and forge effectual
associations with Baptist Women and their respective state Unions. Provide the BU constructive assessment on the health of women in each state.
2.6 Relationships: Maintain connections with our Baptist indigenous women community
leaders. Encourage networks with Baptist affiliations and organizations
3. EQUIP: (training for ministry competency)
3.1 Training: Provide training at Conference to enhance ministry and leadership skills
3.2 Coaching Clinics: Provide workshop training at Conference & offer them as training
resources for state churches
3.3 Resources: Provide relevant ministry resources in a variety of mediums as required for State Leaders to use in their state.
3.4 Financial Support: for travel, speakers, resources & communication
3.5 Advocacy: Providing a advocacy project (e.g: Scholarship Fund, Mission Project)
