Mission
Did you know that if you are a Baptist Woman you belong to a big Baptist Family?
The Baptist World Alliance Women's Department is composed of 7 Continental Unions representing 229 National Baptist women's organizations from 130 countries. Australia belongs to the South West Pacific Continental Union (BWUSWP) along with New Zealand, Fiji, Papua and Irian.
We belong to a large family of Baptist women and support each other through prayer, finances towards specialized projects and friendship. All over the world many of our sisters are persecuted because of their faith, undervalued because they are women, or do not have the financial means to be resourced for ministry. Australian Baptist Women partner with Baptist Women across the world and connect with them for support and strength.

Baptist Women’s World Day of Prayer Program

Each year in November our women all around the world set aside time to come together to pray for each other. A specific country is chosen for focus on prayer and projects and all offerings are directed to these specified projects. A suggested program is provided for all with resources to help you create a memorable and exciting time for your women’s day of prayer.
