Graham Dangerfield, Chair of Baptist Care Australia, has announced the appointment of Nicole Hornsby to the role of Executive Director, Baptist Care Australia.
Mrs Hornsby’s career has evolved from origins as a registered nurse with a background in hospital administration and acute care case management. She has worked within the for profit and not for profit sectors and for large and small organisations both as an administrator and as a consultant. She has more than 15 years’ experience in the aged care sector alone.
“We are delighted to appoint Nicole Hornsby to the role of Executive Director” stated Mr Dangerfield. Nicole has actively supported Baptist Care Australia’s establishment and growth from her roles in Baptcare, and brings a wealth of knowledge in aged care, mission, families, housing and disability. We look forward to continuing our work with Nicole, and I am confident that her experience and advocacy skills will further advance Baptist Care Australia’s mission to be a voice of hope for the marginalised, and to strengthen our advocacy in aged care, children and families, domestic violence, and homelessness.
Upon her appointment, Mrs Hornsby said; “It’s been exciting to watch the growth of Baptist Care Australia and I feel privileged to join the members in their vision to build hopeful, purposeful communities. There is pressing need for advocacy in so many of the areas our members work in and I look forward to being able to speak out for the disadvantaged and the marginalised”.
