The organisation has been operating for 120 years, and was previously known as the Australian Baptist Missionary Society. Responding with deep compassion and cultural sensitivity, Baptist Mission Australia works to empower communities to develop their own distinctive ways of following Jesus.

Baptist World Aid

Baptist World Aid Australia believes God’s desire is a world without poverty and injustice. That’s why we work toward ending poverty so all people can enjoy fullness of life as He intends.

With your support, we partner with local Christian organisations already working in 18 countries to help vulnerable communities emerge from poverty.

You and your church can join with us by supporting our projects, which are facilitated by indigenous Christian organisations committed to sharing Christ’s love with people living in poverty.
